D Laer is a consulting company for product and service design; I was commissioned to redesign of the website in the timeframe of a week. This was done by following a UX design process. Following this initial design another iteration of the design will follow in the next few months based on the behaviour of the site.
The goal of the redesign was to increase leads and revenue through the site. In order to understand which areas of the design to focus on, stakeholder research and usability studies took place. This involved interviews, competitor analysis and examining existing user behaviour using web analytics for the previous website. The following key issues with the site were realised:
Confusion about the services offered.
Unclear brand identity.
The design process involved various UX methods such as stakeholder interviews, focus groups, competitor analysis, examining web analytics, wireframing, A/B testing, mood boarding and usability testing of lo-fi prototypes.
